So I'm trying to pretend I'm handy and adjust the trigger on the above gun. I did this years ago to remove the creep and lighten the pull weight. However I just realized in the last few months that the safety no longer works and probably hasn't since I messed with it.

I'm a struggling to understand what the 4 adjustment screws do.

Any ideas? Google wasn't much help.

Don't tell me to just go to a gunsmith because their ain't shit here in WA. I can't even get one to call me back.
 
Wild guess here, but I’m guessing just by the location of the screws compared to other rifles that B adjusts weight and C adjusts over travel.
 
A: Pull weight
B: Safety
C: Overtravel
D: Sear engagement

Set the sear engagement through the sight port on the side. You want at least .01" engagement.
Set the pull weight no lighter than 3 1/2lb.
Set the overtravel so the trigger clears the sear + a touch extra.
Set the safety while on safe, so it just makes contact with the trigger.

GD... That was literally all I needed. Adjustment complete. Flipping it over to see the sighting port was a helluva revelation
