I sit down in the swamp that funnels a lot of deer when they get pushed from pretty much every direction. I gotta beat the pressure. Usually only lasts a day or two. Then I try to get a few more minutes of sleep -

Good luck, ‘Sconnies! I’ll be in my usual stand, hopefully shortly after 5. It’ll be a much different year for our group. We lost two of our hunting party this year, so it’ll be pretty melancholy at the Shack. That said, had a few nice bucks running around, so hopefully I hit the big buck lottery. -

Going to Wisconsin
Looking forward to the updates. Was a slow weekend about two hours north of where you were at, with a lot of action during the week last week, and apparently picking up again today. My mother in law was watching my boys today and saw this guy out the south window.- beagle001

Non-Game Species Encountered in the Field
Besides the cool encounters with bobcats over the years, I’ve also had plenty of owls around- in fact, I often tell my wife I was an owl in another life and that’s why I have so many around me. One of my most memorable was when I had a small owl (Saw-whet maybe?) land roughly 30-35 yards away...- beagle001

This is from last fall. Had two bobcat kittens and their mother come by. Not the best video, but the kittens were having a ball- wrestling, climbing, running.- beagle001

I’ve had around 20 bobcat encounters over the years, but this was one of the coolest. Came in, peed in the deer scrape under my stand then picked me off. This is a screenshot, since I don’t know if I can upload video- beagle001

Nissan will no longer produce Titans for the North American market
Good to hear @cedahm! Got a little better warranty, just to cover some of the bells and whistles, should I have issues, but otherwise I’m liking it so far.- beagle001

Any Experience with GM 3.0l Duramax Diesel 1500 Trucks?
We opted to go for the new Chevy gas truck, and that sucker has plenty of power. We pull 32 foot gooseneck cattle trailers, and it doesn’t have ALL of the diesel power, but it works pretty well. Only thing you miss while pulling is the exhaust brake. I like this truck better than our last gas...- beagle001
