    BLM proposing conservation leasing

Interesting concept. Look forward to reading more about this as the concept works its way through the process. Many portions of the language used concerning better management of BLM lands should have been or should be incorporated in the BLM's overall mission NOW. In my limited...

Seek Outside getting heat for hosting gun control nut Ryan Busse

Hmmm. Attack the issue not the person! One of the best classes I had in college was Logic. During debates, if a person personally attacked an opponent they lost the argument and had to go sit at the children's table for the rest of class. Much fun, laughter and learning how to parse language...

    Communication in Business

I would ask the parties where you experienced a failure to execute on their part what happened? Perhaps, assuming honesty on their part, you may pick up a pearl. However, it sounds like you are using a SOP for most business engagements.

    TriStar malfunction

The operative words are "out of battery". I had that happen with an 1187 when steel was first mandated in the 80's. Using Active 3" steel. It was my fault. I was being quite and closed the action slowly not giving a palm bump to ensure lock up. When the birds came to blocks it was exciting...

Forget caliber and bullet, let’s talk shot placement

Good Stuff JLS! Now add in incline and decline shot placement.

Building a barn and getting horses.

A lot of good info here - my contribution: Water - run the line. Fresh water is essential, especially in winter. Horses living on hay need that water or they will get impacted guts and it gets ugly from there. If feeding round bales invest in a hay hut, pricey, however your hay stays dry and...

    Best option

I vote gas as well. I have 1 ton ford 7.3 diesel, powerful in its day, noisy, smelly and expensive when maintenance time comes around. I pull heavy (12-15k) and the diesel was necessary. If not for weight issues or consistently pulling heavy over long distance go gas.

Your top 3 picks for a concealed carry?

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the major micro 9's on the market - it's a matter of which fits your hand best. I am no longer a skinny guy so IWB doesn't work for me and hanging a firearm on my belt defeats the conceal factor. So, I carry in my front pocket using a Sticky holster...

    The Benelli Click

All my Benelli's springs were replaced with Wolff gunsprings. Simple procedure, gun will go into battery every time. Problem remedied.

    Adult Onset Idiot

If you are shooting sabots, DO NOT LUBE YOUR SABOTS. Sabots are designed to be shot right out of the package dry. You will find the bullets that are sold with polymer bases attached generally load much easier than the separate sabot-bullet combo. However, the separate combo is known to produce...

    Adult Onset Idiot

I wasn't familiar with that particular rifle; ignition with mag rifle primer, 200 grain max powder charge....shooting 300 grain projectile...can you say YEEHAW! That load will hit hard at both ends. Remington claims 2400fps with 200 grain sabot. Impressive rifle. When I think of the evolution...

    So it happens.....

I cannot figure your logic in the first sentence in relation to this story. Two men are brutally attacked by strangers for something they had nothing to do with.......on a (remote?) road. This wasn't a school yard dust up or beer muscles being flexed in bar. If the facts are as presented this is...

    Moose

Congrats! So, what do you think the bull that inspected your kill was thinking? More importantly, were you thinking this SOB is getting inside knife fighting range and I'm feeling a wee bit vulnerable? Great stuff, thanks.
