Some scouting close to home pictures
This guy was near my mail box. Long range picture - 20-ft out my car window! What's this in the alfalfa field west of our house? I'm not the only one who is curious. Here he is, on his feet. Look who he is with now! Old "split brow," who I've been taking pictures of for three years now... -
Red desert wyoming
Good job on the pictures. I really enjoyed seeing them and the wild horse pictures remind me of seeing them in that part of Wyoming. On my last trip, antelope hunting, in that area I witnessed a vicious fight between two stallions. Can't wait to go back. Thanks for posting.- LuckyMike

Would I be nuts to try my own wolf?
It's very rewarding to do it yourself. However, if you haven't gained experience mounting other big game, I think you are going to have a very difficult time achieving a truly lifelike look in the final product. DIY lifesize Grizzly Bear
I'm finished with this project except for securing the rock base to the table top or pedistal, once it's built. The table top I'm having built, will raise the rock base 16" off of the floor. I'm happy to have this bear mounted and pleased with the outcome. Here's some pictures.- LuckyMike

Colorado units 66 vs 67?
I am going into the 2013 draw for Colorado with 7-pts for deer. At my age, I don't really have the luxury of waiting to get enough points to draw third hunt in these units, which I like because I don't have to deal with the onslaught of over the counter elk hunters. I actually like hunting mule... -
