Yes, but I’d try 220 conibear if I had a chance. The 1.5 should be good. I have to say that I never trapped a groundhog though.- Elktrack

Big Bullets for Big Animals?
I don’t know if I can imagine life without my 8mm Rem Mag. I’ve shot coyotes, whitetails, elk, black bear, and moose with it. 220 grain bullet cruising a little under 3000 fps and has just been perfect on everything. I know it’s not a true big bore but it’s my “big rifle”. -

I’m gonna reroof the house. Easy roof, 4-12 pitch, but I am not motivated to do it at all. Tons of other projects that I personally don’t care about but apparently I need to do. If you want to know the details on when it was made and all that just pull the grips and get the SN. It’s definitely an earlier model but I don’t know how early. S&W quit pinning and recessing in 1982 (pretty sure it was 1982 but maybe 1981??) either way it was made before then. I don’t think... -
