Suppressor help
For me I would have it rethreaded to 5/8-24 if the barrel is thick enough. If it's too thin you can get a 1/2"-28× 5/8"-24 adapter for your barrel ( stay away from the cheap ones!!! ) or you can get a different end cap for your suppressor that's threaded 1/2"-28. Didn't make it out to my deer hunting property all year till season opened. Was surprised at the lack of sign and didn't see a single deer in three hunts which is very odd. Suppressor Accuracy on a Previously Unthreaded Barrel
I've had a couple of mine threaded for suppressors with no loss of accuracy, if any thing it got better but that's probably due to me not having to deal with the noise and concussion of the muzzle blast.- elkfanatic

What's on the smoker today?
Had it in brine for five days. Cold smoked with apple wood for 3 1/2 hours then indirect heat on the grill at 175-200 till internal temp hit 145°.- elkfanatic

Elk Rifle
I like the way my browning x- bolt 300 win mag carries and handles in the field ,plus it's very accurate. It's a bit heavier than some but feels very solid compared to some of the other brands. Question for those who have rebarreled a rifle...
The two I had rebarrelled I got the the old barrels back with the rifles. Told the Smith he could keep em but he just laughed and said he's got no use for worn out barrels. So now they sit on my scrap steel pile.- elkfanatic
