I'm still writing up the story for this one, but bottom line up front: My son and I had an absolutely amazing time in the Yukon Territory with Yukon Stone Outfitters on a guided fly-in boat hunt. Junior got a dandy bull with huge shovels and a drop tine. I had a good bull step out in front of me on day one that I probably should have shot, but I just didn't want to be done moose hunting that quickly on a 10-day hunt! We saw or heard moose nearly every day, saw caribou, black bear, a grizzly's meat cache, lake trout, grayling, and northern pike. Caught a glimpse of and heard a real toad bull with splayed back antlers, easily 55+ inches, but just could not coax him out into the open nor dig him out. It was an epic once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
