Nothing wrong with the 22-250. If a 25-06 is the "standard" for antelope or a 30-06 the "standard" for deer, then I'd say that's what the 22-250 is for coyotes- just absolute lights out. If you already reload multiple calibers, then there is nothing wrong with keeping a tried and true in your arsenal. Sounds like another Savage would be a great and economical choice.
