Howdy guys, I have a cow elk tag in Unit 111 and I have some specific questions regarding access and road conditions in that area. I'd like to know what I'm getting myself into as far as snow on the ground typical for November in certain areas so I can better plan my hunt. Any local or someone familiar with the unit that could send me a PM would be greatly greatly appreciated. THANKS!

I wasn't in that particular unit,but was in several others,,and when in Wyoming,expect very rough side roads,,always carry a second spare,,was in units 83,81,89,90,and 92 elk units and man even the main roads in are terrible,,chalk up 1 tire for my trip,and it was brand new when I left home

most anything but the main road will have areas drifted in, better have extra stuff. Chains, shovels ect. It's not a great place to be in the winter usually. A four wheeler may be better. Just go prepared and don't press your luck
