Wyoming "Random" Elk Draw

Kicking around an idea- is there a limit to how many people can apply under a single part app code in Wyoming?

Actually it's 6 looked it up.

Every deer, elk and pronghorn tag I've drawn in Wyoming was in the random draw. Also drew a random bull moose permit.

Is that why you want more landowner tags to buy? So you can go hunt private?

The big wide open public lands are more of a challenge than your capable of?

I actually had a great hunt with my dad- saw multiple smaller bucks, one nice one that I would have shot opening day but nothing that tripped my trigger after that. I’m totally capable of having a fun hunt without feeling the need to roll a young buck- I get that not everyone is wired the same, and I don’t judge. I’ve done it in the past and may very well do it someday again in the future. Just didn’t this year.

No idea what landowner tags have to do with this thread or anything I posted here. I only hunt public land DIY, not sure where the private land thing came from.

I was just giving you a hard time man! You take a counter position on a lot of the tag conversations. And it seemed like you were saying the reason you didn’t fill a tag was you got it off the random. Choice of unit would result in quality, not random vs pp.

Are the random tags that are drawn for random areas and antlered/antlerless or more specifically that the odds of the draw are random? So if I put in for the random draw, I could still put in for a designated specific area and antlered/antlerless of my choosing?

Random just refers to tags drawn without using points of some kind, so everyone has an equal chance of drawing. They are not a different kind of tag.
