Wyoming proposed regs are up

The number of East general elk tags sure got a bump. I know someone (BuzzH maybe) said this was coming but over 50% increase still surprised me.

I see they've upped the point restrictions on deer in the region I like from 3 to 4. I like it be interesting to see if it affects the quality in the next few years.

Area I hunted last year is losing its doe/fawn tags. I felt like I saw lots of pronghorn but also sounds like things are a fair amount less than they were prior to the bad winter kill year. Without question the biggest doe groups I saw were on irrigated crop fields

Does anyone know if GoHunt will change their draw odds to reflect these numbers or do they just keep them the same?

East General Regular? about 4pts. Just a guess.
Im thinking less than that..... Some folks drew that last year and now 400 more tags. Any math guys care to take a look? Or to hard to tell because ya never know if a bunch of point holders might jump into that pool?

GoHunt is doing some predictive modeling to try to forecast upcoming draw odds. I’m sure it comes with a healthy disclaimer, but it’s a pretty interesting concept.
They claim 95% accuracy. They must be pretty confident to slap that number on there which is cool.

I have no faith in the projected odds when changes such as tag quotas, season dates, antler restrictions, etc. occur.

The few hunts I looked at in the projected odds section showed roughly 1 additional point required over last year, pretty standard point creep.
