i drew a montana antelope tag this fall and was considering trying to stop in wyoming on a leftover whitetail doe tag coming home. unit 17 and 18 have quite a few leftover. yes, i know limited access is the reason such tags are normally leftover. im more familiar witht the tags in the black hills region, which are sold out. does anyone is familiar with getting and using these tags? thanks

There's not a ton of white tails in those areas, particularly on public ground. They are around, but you will probably have to put some miles on to find them. It's nothing like the black hills.

thanks, i may just spend more time looking for a quality pronghorn buck and maybe try some bird hunting if time allows.
