The 2017 Magpul Governor's Match is pleased to announce a 1st of it's kind opportunity for competitive shooters to support the shooting sports, wildlife, and hunting charities.
The match winner will receive the donation rights for a fully-outfitted 2018 Wyoming Wilderness Elk Hunt package with Commissioners Tag. The prize must be donated to an eligible charity. Estimated value at auction is in excess of $20,000. This donation was made possible by Wyoming Game and Fish Commissioner Keith Culver and Livingston Outfitting in Cody, Wyoming.
Competitors are required to select and declare their charity prior to the Match start date, August 3rd. An email from the competitor identifying their charity of choice and an email from the charity is required prior to reception of the prize. All charities must be pre-approved and only eligible non-profits associated with hunting, shooting sports, wildlife, law enforcement, or military will be accepted. Emails can be sent to Wyoming Governor's Policy Advisor, Nephi Cole ([email protected]).
Eligible charities include groups such as, but are not limited to: Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, National Shooting Sports Foundation, Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Boone and Crockett Club, Trout Unlimited, Safari Club International, Mule Deer Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, the Navy Seal Foundation, Semper Fi Fund, NRA Foundation, Police associations and others.
