I'm baffled by all the people that think they need "max" points to have a superb deer hunt in Wyoming.

Price increase didn’t do it
People saying it’ll decline hasn’t done it

it’s not happening, $42 for the point isn’t even beer money

Exactly - about a case of beer in Bend
Only reason I'm sitting on points is that I haven't decided when/where I want to go in WY.

I have 11 DEER points and have applied the last few years to unit 89 regular. I am thinking 141 regular (to force a draw) or 87 special (and most likely get killed by point creep)..... ? I don't know! The point creep is flustering when you make the tag apart of your hunting schedule. There is not a clear answer. I have a friend out of Casper who said Natrona County is not known for giants (not worth 10 points)....
