WY non-resident elk deadline change for 2022? 🤔

Is this correct? If so, not sure how I missed this one? I must have been asleep when they passed that.

It shows the NR elk is now the same as deer and pronghorn, May 31. According to the dates on the website at this link - https://wgfd.wyo.gov/hunting/application-dates-and-deadlines

Doesn't seem correct, given they have the old results date that is earlier than the actually deadline date.

I had heard they were going to do that but that’s as much as I know. I’m wondering if the draw date was not updated as well.

Somebody messed something up lol. My guess is it's still Jan 31 since the withdraw in May 9 and draw May 19th.

I called 3 days ago to ask someone at G&F about the deadline. He said January 31st. I think it's a typo.

it would be nice if it was switched to the same as deer and antelope,,i hope they figure this out pretty quick.i didnt like how they sat on our non res moneys for a number of months last year,,,all part of the game.

NR Elk deadline Jan 31, Modify May 9 (tuesdays), results May 19 (always thursday).

I suggest everyone wait until the May 31 deadline to apply and hold onto your $. I’ll take one for the team and apply in January and see how it plays out.

I see they made the change today. The date remains the same for non-residents, January 31.

The January 31st deadline for nonresident elk when every other deadline pretty much for residents and nonresidents is May 31st really is a slap in the face.

I will continue to accept my face being slapped to apply though.
