I have questions about a specific HMA in NE WY. I don’t want to blow the place up naming it online I would greatly appreciate any info from some of you cowboy state gurus.

+1. From my experiences, they told me good spots to check as well as easier routes of travel to get to spots. Well worth a phone call.

Side note: Things change from year to year on HMA'a and walk-in areas. Sometimes the folks at G & F have some sense of whether there's change coming (the owners might pull out of the program, access dates might change, etc.) It's worth asking about whether they see anything changing before your upcoming hunting season. It's far from foolproof, but just another question to spend 30 seconds on.
