Cabela’s has gone down hill for hunting gear and most everything for sure, but they still carry good fishing gear.
A guy could grab a few real nice rod and reel setups with that.
A couple St. Croix or G. Loomis 7’ - 7’ 3”medium extra fast jigging rods paired with a couple Shimano reels sounds like a fun set up for snap jogging late summer walleyes off of deep points adjacent to deeper water…

I might just load up on a week's worth of MTN ops and call 'er a day. lol. i've been spending more time looking at cabelas website this week than working, it's disgusting. Maybe i'll just get my 12yo decked out for her first year of hunting instead of making her wear hand-me-downs and a wrong handed rifle... seems wrong tho.

There are a handful of things at cabelas that I would consider a worthwhile purchase. Not to mention the gun counter. I do, however, agree that they do have their fair share of complete garbage as well.

Could always sell the card at a site like CardCash. Card cash will give $920 cash for the $1000 gift card. Other legit sites might be more. No hassle and safe.
