Relative snooze fest for the first game today. Ecuador and South Korea both wanting to not lose.

Ghana v Portugal second half would be fun for casual soccer/football players to watch. Ghana player nearly scored off an inattentive goalie to even the match.

Lots of exclamations of joy and agony at the kansasdad house as we nosh on sausage pinwheels, cinnamon rolls and pumpkin bread waiting for the full meal deal Thanksgiving later this afternoon.

Tale of two movements to the first half. First 20+ minutes feeling each other out, but England clearly dominant, and then pushed gently on the accelerator to cruising speed. Both sides having some decent chances to score.

Can someone please instruct our forward players in the box that a little motion during the corner might result in some space opening up??
