Atlanta Driving Instructions: 1) If it's Sunny & Clear do 80 MPH (No matter the posted) 2) If it's rainy, Do 40 MPH & leave 110 yds cleareance. 3) If it's 6:00AM, Rules 1 & 2 don't apply, It's NASCAR Time !! Big A$$ Semi going HOOOONNNKKK, little rice burner kissin' yer bumper, and Billy Joe Jim Boy, in a '47 Chevy Pickup, loaded with Aunt Mae's out building ...doing 30 in a 65

Say a prayer for me y'all......say a prayer . I'm here 4 more days.

I have lost NOTHING in Atlanta. That is one screwed up town getting into it in the morning. Just use MARTA when you get there, as the Subways are pretty fast. Don't go to the Harem Club...............that's what they say anyway. John;)

Don't know about Harem's. I went to Wild Bill's last New Years and to put it mildly...the Good Ol' Boys were out to settle some scores ! One episode had me dumping $20 worth of shots on the floor, cuz a couple boys got outta hand, another Trix and I just watched from the table, out on the dance floor, but the last was right at our table and I had to snatch Trix around the waist and haul her A$$ outta Harms Way. I looked into that young Buck's eyes and read "Danger Will Robinson...Danger ! " Threw my arm around her waist, plucked her off that stool, light as a feather, and RAN...just seconds B4 the fists went flying, tables crashing. ( Thank You GySgt Sewell for training me when to Fight, and when to RUN !!!)

What ever.......Hell of a New Year !! LOL

Wild Bill's sounds reminiscent of a C&W club I used to patronize in Grand Prairie, TX back in the late 60's. If you got in a chingaso with some cowboy hat, you'd have to fight every sumbitch in the house who was wearing a hat. They didn't like us flyboys for some reason.

Your right! If your on 285, you better put it to the floor and hang on. Then again, I`ve been through there at 2am and sat in traffic for well over an hour from either construction or a wreck in the opposite lane.

I have no use for that place!

You hit the nail on the head I hope I never have to drive through that god forsaken place again.

On a side note: Anybody else here get lost while driving through E. St. Louis and made it out alive and unscathed? One of the longest 1 1/2 hours of my life.

I go to St. Louis every once in a while for business, and the first time, the freeway back to the airport was shut down due to some shooting. Of course, it was in January, so there was snow. No directions anywhere - just push you off the freeway and into the 'hoods.

Do I brave Spagetti Junction @ 5:30 AM or, do the Nascar bit on 285 ? I have to go all the way from North to South in the morning, then back in the afternoon. Last full day and I'm ready to spilt this town !

Left this morning and I couldn't press the peddle hard enough ! And they were still passing me ! Thank God, only one more trip back there this year....
