Starting to look for a new dog. Possibly a started dog. Currently living in Albuquerque, but willing to travel. Any recommendations?

Great dogs. Friends have one now did have a couple of them old age got them.
Be ready to pay big bucks for one. Don't know of any breeders or names of the breeders.

Check with local NAVHDA chapter for folks with a griff or that breed them and work from there.

AWPGA is the Association for WPG’s and they run a rescue program if you’re looking for an adult dog. I don’t know many people selling started Griffon’s since they bond so strongly with families.


Let me know if you have any questions about Griffs! My older one just scored 200 at a UT test, and we’re about halfway through her AKC Master Hunter tests.
