Winter boredom facelift

Instead of buying myself a new Seekins, I bought a couple cans of paint and gave my Kimber a facelift.

@Justabirdwatcher I used a paper plate and a sponge. A dishwashing sponge with the Brillo side worked really good for the lighter pattern.

Several times I talked myself off the ledge of an impulse purchase. Although right now I’m eyeing a 20 gauge side by side.

I went back and forth, finally got with p_ham and am just gonna build what I want. The Seekins was a close second…. If they had a few more cartridge offerings that probably would’ve been the ticket for me.

I also went and picked up an antique 20 ga wingmaster I had been hunting for this afternoon. I’m thinking I may have a problem

Too bad about the chambering though. I hear it’s only good for deer and antelope.
