My buddy is slaying some birds as we speak. Long trip out for him to lose a big chunk of hunting area so I am glad it is reopened.

That's good news. Kinda glad I wasn't one of the few that drew early archery permits for Twin Oaks NWR, one of the few draw hunts in Indiana, and couldn't go. I drew a permit for later in the year at a different NWR so I wan't impacted...by that part of the shutdown.
