Wife got one

She started hunting last year at age 57. She got her first deer that year, a 3x3 muley. She practiced shooting all year this year. Prone, off the pack, tripod, and trekking poles.

For this season she wanted a knife so she could help field dress her harvest. She was all in.

Well, yesterday she got it done. 200 yards, through the heart. One shot and done. Deer took maybe two steps. She is a very happy lady.

I'm really lucky to be able to enjoy this pastime with my best friend.
