Why California Sucks

Right on W.Hunter i thought i could retire on my 5 acres [i did] but now they are building everywhere out here and it sucks. i used to hunt dove right in my front yard up until 3 yrs. ago. now that the city has annexed me i can`t, looks like i will have to move farther out [probably Utah]
:( :(

Hey i love the rain, I almost went to work for Boeing back in 1981, and i have been up there Kent/Seattle/Vancouver it is green thats for sure. but i have to stay put for a while, my wife should retire in 7 yrs.and i have alot of family around here, so i`m looking at southern Utah. but thanks for the invite.

Cali...Bakersfield.... :D 'nuff said ;)

Yeah I don't expect the "good times" to last forever up here by after 44years and stints in OR, WA, and (very short time) in ID I'm gonna stay put till the three rug rats are outta the nest. Problem we have in the north is the same as most western states- large population areas that drive the vote for the entire state.

Hell a couple of counties up here have just got there first stop lights in the last few years
but we still have to be "represented" by those of the land of fruit & nuts....sucks!

I hope to do just that when I finally retire. I hope that the 40 acres (or whatever I end up with) is bounded on at least one side by National Forest.... and that I can have my private shooting range on my land.
Damn Baby Boomers stealing all the good spots and social security money! ;)
