Aren't Steeler games the reason there is no hunting on Sunday's in PA?

Deer hunting is good here, and plenty of state land to hunt. It's all about playing the "hunting pressure" curve.

I've been most successful archery hunting the suburbs, but hunting the northern big(for PA) woods is fun during gun season.

Wisconsin definitely !!! Tags are $160 over the counter. One can shoot 2 bucks a year. More land open to hunting than you"ll ever to able to hunt, public & private. Northern WI is true northwoods hunting w better deer numbers than any other northern state. Trophy potential is fair.

Agree with Dustinf, plenty of deer here, especially the SW corner. You can also double up and hunt WV. Non resident licence for both states and a handful of doe tags would be around $300. On public ground there will be a sea of orange.
