White Death.....

I picked up my new shooting iron today. Tikka Roughtech 300 WM. I will be calling this one by the name Simo in honor of the greatest sniper in history, Simo Hayha- a Fin known to all as The White Death. First order of business will be having the action and barrel cerakoted in burnt bronze. From there I will be putting the Vortex glass I won earlier this year on top of a Mountain Tactical Tikka T3 specific rail and some Vortex Precision rings. Then praying for the ammo gods to smile upon me

Hence why I am going with Simo. White Death was for the reference as to who he as actually was.

Congrats on the new rifle. Like mentioned, I like the sniper reference. In keeping with that theme, might I suggest your next rifle be a Winchester Model 70 in 30.06? You could call it “White Feather” in honor of a great American, Carlos Hathcock.

I’d love to have one myself. In 30.06 of course. Are the ones in your shop for sale?

Tikka supposedly makes that rifle in 308 with a 20in barrel. If I can I ever find one it will be mine. I’m sure you will have good luck with that rig. Congrats.

Folks are pretty goofy for the pre 64s......we already ssd old half of the collection we bought- including all of the mannlichers.

Sportsman's Warehouse is claiming to have them (T3x Lite Compact Black) in some Utah, Arizona, Idaho and Wyoming stores stores. I didn't bother looking further down the store list.

I had that on my 06 for awhile, that shop makes quality stuff seems like. Did you get the receiver length or the longer one? I eventually went to a pair of talleys.
