Hey guys,

My cooper at3’s are nearing the snow wear bar (1/16 inch from the bar)and I was just wondering when you guys replace your tires.

I have kicked around getting a set of wheels and running these during the dry months as they still have a ton of tread left.

I guess I better say that my winter driving can be 5 or 6 months depending on Mother Nature ..😁

Thanks..

I’d have put new ones on already.

Even that close to the tread bar, they’ll likely cause issues with hydroplaning in the “dry weather”.

All that siping and such that’s not there helps move water away from the contact patch.

I agree to have two full sets of wheels and tires, one for dry conditions and one for mud/snow.

I run own three sets that I swap about.
I have a wide set on 18 wheels that I use when towing during summer.
I have a set of duratracks on stock wheels for spring and fall. And a set of mud/snow for hunting season and winter.
I winterized the toyhauler Friday so I should swap on the ats.

I replace mine at about 4/32 tread depth or 5 years old. They are normally good enough that I can sell the old ones for a couple hundred bucks.
