...of a deer or elk to eat? I'll eat just about every cut of meat on an animal, but I will not eat the heart or liver. However I do bring them out of the woods, simply because my dad enjoys the heart, and I have a friend that enjoys the liver, so as long as I hutn and get an animlathe liver will go to him. :) :)

my favorite part of the animal is the back strap but I like all of the animal with the exception of the liver and heart and like quick draw I still bring it out because I also have too many family members who eat it and would kick my butt if I left it up on the mountain. :D LOL :D

Tenderloin & rounds. But I like the heart and liver also...well seasoned and deep fried.

All of it except the liver. I have only had heart once, from a moose, and it was pretty darn good. I don't bring out the heart or the liver.

i eat every thing.. all the left over pices an the heart go to making summer sauge (sp) me an my dad deep fry the liver

A little salt and pepper and even the worse parts are good... :)
I do draw the line on brains though... :)

I don't take the liver myself...unless I have a boot or two to re-sole...

BUT I do like the heart- Open the heart up and take a fillet knife to cut out the valve areas as they are tough like gristle, pound in out flat, marinate overnite in your favorite Italian dressing and grill over mesquite coals YUMMMMMMM

My favorite is definately the hanging tenderloins with eggs and fried spuds with onions the morning after the kill! hump Damn, now I'm hungry :(

Its all good....mmmm... with an exception of the Liver....But i will eat it or i should say i have eaten it. dont know if i can again...ha ha..

The heart and the liver is the first thing that get eaten off the deer or elk hump then it the tenderloins, hump then the rest is up for grabs :D :p :D

I have always been partial to butterflied back strap dusted with salt and pepper flour. 3 minutes to a side with some thick onion slices along for the saute'. Maybe a buttery biscuit and a cold beer, and my boots warmin by the fire....yeah baby!!

Guts ?!?!? You guys pack out the Guts ... :D :D

I'm also a Backstrap man. I like the Cuts with no Grissle in it.
