What you all cookin for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

My wife is doing a prime rib roast with twice baked potatoes casserole. I should add that she makes homemade bread to go with it and also just baked homemade cinnamon rolls. YUMMY!

Crap I had to add again. I completely forgot she made homemade Huckleberry cheesecake for desert. Started paying more attention to posts and it reminded me that I cannot forget this scrumptious delicacy.

11lb ribeye roast with twice baked potatoes, green beans, rolls, meat and cheese platter, and fresh baked cookies for tonight. Tomorrow will start with a couple kringles (circular sweet pastry), then dove popper starters, followed with whole roasted quail with carrots and baby potatoes and ending with pecan pie.20241224_105607.jpg

Christmas eve we do our version of the Feast of Seven Fishes, (shrimp, flounder, scallops, crab cakes and crab imperial this year)
Christmas morning is sausage gravy over buttermilk biscuits with eggs.
Tomorrow night the family is coming over and my wife does a lasagna every year, I'll probably throw some venison backstrap on the smoker as well.
Lincoln log cake for dessert is our Christmas tradition.

Prime rib, asparagus, and scalloped cheesy potatoes for dinner tonight. Breakfast tomorrow is homemade caramel rolls with egg/sausage quiche. Dinner tomorrow is ham, prime rib, lots of sides, and desert is an assortment including a family tradition I will make. Cranberry cake with a lemon butter cream sauce. Luxuriously rich, tart, sweet. Ill take a nicer pic this year but I like mine swimming.
