What do you guys do with old arrows? I found a bunch I had hidden away in storage that are too light of spine for my current hunting setup. I think I'm going to keep a handful to shoot at rabbits and birds. Sell the rest? Shoot them at stuff? Dip them in oil, light on fire, and lay siege on the neighboring kingdom?

on my last trip to Texas i recognized the need for pig arrows. Got plenty of arrows that are not good enough for that special tag but for pigs they will do just fine.

Make them into droptubes for loading blackpowder cartridges, sell them for a fortune, and retire early so you can hunt more.

There may be some holes in this suggestion...

I wouldn’t shoot an arrow that didn’t have enough spine for my bow. There are stories and some pretty graphic photos on-line of arrows coming apart before leaving the bow. Maybe it is from other causes but the photos are gnarly. I think Cush has the right idea.
As to old arrows, i shoot them at gophers.

If you figure out something creative, let us all know. I got a bunch and don't know why I keep them. Just can't seem to get rid of them.

I have heard of people using them in glass bedding to add extra strength to a stock.

Some great ideas there!

I've used them to try to stiffen the forestock on the Tupperware plastic Savage stocks.

I cut one short & glued it to the side of my spotting scope for a quick way to aim it.

When me and my brother were teenagers we used the old aluminum Eastons for antenna decor on our pickup trucks. Just pull the insert out and pop it over the top of you antenna. Sounds goofy now but we all did it back then.

At total archery challenge in glenwood there was a couple making artwork out of them. I don’t remember what their company was called though. They had donation bin for all the arrows that got busted up over the three days!
