The lawyers do need to get theirs. So now that science has been "settled", the litigants have moved on to other issues to sue over!

I bet if I conducted a study, all lawyers would carry wood tick dna.The lawyers do need to get theirs.
I prefer a more symbiotic metaphor - remora.I bet if I conducted a study, all lawyers would carry wood tick dna.
Science says wood tick.....I prefer a more symbiotic metaphor - remora.
But in the end, with all of its potential flaws it is still our only real chance to understand the physical world with anything more than religious-like systems of dogma.
We can work on fixing the above risks. We can evaluate the data we have more rigorously. We can unwind the misuse of science by non-scientists. But it is impossible (by definition) to fix “facts” generated by mere personal belief or perosnal anecdote.
What do we do with the phenomenon of scientists who attempt to draw conclusions beyond what the data indicates is observable and repeatable? My observation is that many of those conclusions are often very religious and dogmatic at their core regardless of the name attached to the god.
More rigor in evaluating and critiquing by all - most folks don’t like being called out. Reduce politicization of grant funding. Return emphasis for tenure to teaching and not “publish or perish”. Folks learning to read for themselves rather than getting their “science” from Tucker Carlson or Whoopi’s Goldberg. That would be a nice start. What do we do with the phenomenon of scientists who attempt to draw conclusions beyond what the data indicates is observable and repeatable? And one I would really like - To be published a scientist would have to publish their experimental hypothesis and the standards it will be held against IN ADVANCE of the work being done and then commit to reporting the results regardless of the outcome. Say good-bye to p-hacking and much of the confirmation bias BS plaguing science today.More rigor in evaluating and critiquing by all - most folks don’t like being called out. Same old same old. They would cut their nose off to spite their face.Lawyer jokes aside, if you don’t like our litigious society, look to your neighbors not the lawyers for blame. Lawyers don’t sit on juries and award damages like they are lottery tickets - maybe you neighbors need to stop being zero limit ATMs when in juries. And behind every lawyer is a client pushing their grievance - maybe your neighbors need to be less greedy and less victimy.
Just like voting - people have every chance to make the world they wish but it is easier to blame others. We have universal term limits- it is called elections. And we have tort reform built in - it is called juries.
So, quit your bitching and change the law. When did we conservatives become whiny victims.Same old same old. They would cut their nose off to spite their face.
Mud Creek project fails to properly consider impact on threatened species, lawsuit says
Environmental groups sued the U.S. Forest Service and others over a thinning and logging project planned in the Bitterroot National Forest they say would affect threatened bull trout, whitebark pine.ravallirepublic.com
Working on it. For over 20 years. It's a slow process. So, quit your bitching and change the law. When did we conservatives become whiny victims.

Sadly have had to temporarily set aside my dislike of the left to deal with a growing frustration with the what now pretends to be conservative. Populism is equally distasteful from both extremes. From the left or the right it always results in statism.According msm every election cycle...
Well they may be right on this one. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time.According msm every election cycle...

...set aside? I hold us to a higher standardWhiny victims after the election cycle swing both ways....
History shows in the end the aspirations of left and right forms of populism end up being realized by strongmen who can protect them from the “bad guys.”...set aside? Isn't one of the tenets of populism free will?

- 1.a political approach that strives to appeal to ordinary people who feel that their concerns are disregarded by established elite groups:"the question is whether he will tone down his fiery populism now that he has joined the political establishment"
Your chosen definition tells the reader how it sells but not what it is selling. Populism is like Hooters - crappy overpriced food sold to you because you are busy watching the boobs.Pop·u·lism
