What Scares the H Out of You?

Ugh, Going home tonight knowing I bought a new 20' Bass Boat with a 150 Yammy on the back at lunch......this is gonna cost a Cruise or some chit like that........ But, Honey, it's for both of us!!!! LOL John

Since nobody else will go there,
I'm saying the missus she cooks my food more importantly she decides whats in my food. I had better be nice to the missus!

wellsaid, wife does the cooking, and most the time i am not looking,to se what she is a coooking,so we all should make sure we are dooing a lot of smooching with our better half.
or we might be 6 feet under, especially if your better half is a looking longingly at your new rifle,or pistole,or even your truck.

Clowns. Clowns and them damn porcelain faced dolls. If I'm having a nightmare, one or both of those danged things is in it for sure.

174in, I have been thru what scares the heck out of you. I buried a son in the prime of his life. I whole heartedly pray that no one else, on this site or other sites, will ever go through this. To lighten things a bit. What scares me are politicians deciding how I should live my life.

I feel for you guys! Going on year three with the youngest having survived brain cancer surgery, chemo and radiation. Just too bad she doesn't have a stand-up husband. Another story you don't want to go through.
Reason for my post was just to see what gives you the jeebies from your childhood.

As a kid I always freaked myself out going out to the barn to feed the cows during the winter.
One dim 60 watt bulb in the barn gave me just enough light to imagine all kinds of wild animals and axe killers waiting for me in the hay loft..

So ya, dimly lit hay lofts in the dead of winter weird me out.

can't think of anything worse than losing a child. unless you lose two.

step daughter - age 19 - congestive heart failure caused by cancer treatments
son - age 25 - brain cancer

I have spent almost 400 days in the hospital, so you could say they make me scared, but what truly makes me lose control are SPIDERS. When I was in high school in NM I was awaken from my sleep by something moving across my chest. When I opened my eyes what did I see but a Tarantula standing at the top of my chest. I give them all the room they want.

Spiders, lol, really spiders. Not sure why, I think my parents made me watch arachnophobia a few too many times as a kid.
