What is your hunting rig?

What do you drive? I have a new 2002 Ford F-350 Super Duty Crew Cab 4x4. It's already been to New Mexico and back in one weekend, and it handled the rain and a backroad snowstorm just fine. It's the short bed, so my wife can drive it around town easily.

Now if I can just get my 3-year old son to stop telling me every morning: "Daddy, I don't want you to take my big truck!" :D (I drive a Honda Civic to work...)

What's he telling you now that he's 17?:D

This may be a record for bringing a thread back from the dead.

Would be interesting to see if any of the OP's respond.

I get to split the Jap and Ford owners!!! The Tacoma gets the most action but Big Blue (has his own thread!!) is for the real nasty stuff....Dana 60 front and 10.25 Ford rear. Blue is going in this weekend for a new exhaust...blew it out on the way up the mountain in OCT :) Here is some truck porn for you!!!

2004 Dodge 2500 quad cab w/ Cummins motor
Fiberglass topper, Cooper AT3 tires.

It's way too big for a lot of what I do, but there times I max out the capacity so it all evens out. I certainly don't need that much truck for me, my backpack and my bow, but when we have a pile of duck decoys, dogs, and blinds I'm glad I don't have mini rig.

I sat in the driver's seat of a Ford truck once and felt my nuts start to shrivel, so I jumped right back out and everything was ok after that :D

The older I get the smaller my trucks get :D

Nissan Frontier

A 2005 chevy 1500 crew cab 140k miles with 34 in tires and a 4 in lift. My grandpa gave it to me for my first truck since he's getting a new truck this year.

06 Titan with 134k on it. no complaints except gas mileage. about to be traded in most likely for a quad cab ram 1500

Believe it or not, a dead antelope will still fit in the back of that thing with my fat ass in the back seat with 3 guys' worth of gear...lol Not very comfortable to sleep in, though :D

Truck

I have a 1997 chevrolet suburban with the 5.7 350. It is a great truck that has made it to South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wyoming. The odometer just hit 127K. Everytime I see the price of a new truck I'm just fine with keeping mine.

'07 Dodge 1500 Q Cab for main road huntin' rig and on legal "rough" roads - '14 Yamaha Viking.
Works for a drop point and pick up vehicle as well.
