Tony... Do a search under spybot search and destroy. There are some free downloads on the search page that will explain and help with it. Good luck

RR, we did the search and the "free downloads" that everybody raves about are just for detecting the files/folders/programs. You have to pay for them to be deleted. But the search helped me compare brands and then know which one to buy when I went to office depot. Thanks for your help though.

OL.. Spybot Search and Destroy is free. They ask for donations, but that is strictly voluntary. That is such a good program that we've adopted it at work. It's worth your while to use it.

Search and destroy is awesome, but not enough best thing is to find out what exact spyware and adware you have install by free scans all over the net. Make a note of name and identity then do searches for file name and removal techniques. Its getting harder now days cause programmers are getting smarter and most install several non-specific registery keys that are generated randomly, with all that stuff said follow the instructions to the T!

We bought a program called Spy Sweeper and it alerts everytime something trys to get in. I think we zapped everything that was on there and we are stopping other things at the same time. I think TK might need to read this post though, I know he was having some troubles with Spywear a little while ago. Atleast everybody can benefit from the advise of others, thanks guys.

I finally got mine solved. I bought a Spyware remover and I went to www.ad-aware.com and downloaded their program and I'm now problem free!

did a search on them an i guess they have done this to a lot of people

TK what program did you buy? We have Spy Sweeper, like I said before, and I think I figured out why we were still getting some things on our desktop... I didnt have one of the options enabled.

I bought McAfee Spysweeper. It works okay I guess. I haven't had any problems since I bought it and downloaded the thing off the site I mentioned before.
