What gun is this?

My dad had bought 2 10 gauge single shot guns from an old family friend about 6 or 7 years ago. He gave them both to my 2 boys and they have sat in their gun cabinets ever since. I dug this one out today to clean it up and shoot it as soon as we get some decent weather. We are not in contact with the friend anymore because of bad health issues so I can't ask him. The barrel has old camo tape on it that I tried to peel back but it's stuck like glue. I'm just curious if anyone might know anything about this gun? Make, model, approximate year?

Interesting. I'm not very knowledgeable on guns except the basic stuff. I've never heard of EAA. I just googled it and learned something new.

I have one in 410 that I keep locked up at deer camp for snakes and other vermin. I’ve beat the hell out of it, even fell in a creek with it.

10ga for doves is kinda akin to a 30-06 for squirrels, isn't it?

I had one in 20ga full choke and that threw a very tight pattern. Killed a lot of stuff with it until the barrel split when I was shooting slugs out of it.

I had an old H&R single shot 10ga. Hardest recoil I've ever experienced. That went down the river pretty quickly.

The one I shot had a red rubber recoil pad that turned into concrete decades before I shot it. Brutal!
