What do you think about these 1/3 scale 3d targets?

For those of you who have the 1/3 scale Rinehardt elk or caribou or a similar "smaller than real life" animal targets. In reading, I found it is supposed to simulate a 60 yard shot at 20 yards.

Do you find that it messes with quick range estimation on live animals?

Are you going to have a slightly different anchor for your 60 pin versus 20?

We have the elk, don't even think about that, just shoot for vitals.
Longbows sure are less complicated, no pins to think about.

Like the others said...just shoot at the target, don't think about it as a 60yd shot when you are standing at 20yds. It's like saying when I shoot this coyote target at 20 yds its the same as shooting a wolf at 40yds.

Very high quality and cool target offering. However, they totally mess me up shooting my longbow for quick range estimating and instinctive shooting.

A 3d course near me had a few 1/3 scale targets this past weekend and I routinely shot high on them with unknown yardage. Maybe its a personal problem. If I spent all summer shooting a 1/3 scale elk then was 25 yards away from a big bull in September it would mess me up bigtime.
