I had a long career as a concrete contractor that grew into owning a concrete plant. Sold out 20 years ago and bought a small cattle ranch and operate a charter boat business.
Before buying my current job as a TV host and owner of the best hunting forum on Al Gore's world wide web, I spent my days disinheriting the Federal Treasury. Now, unemployable in that world of taxes, I am trying to augment my income and pay for my TV show habit by providing part time animal control services; an activity that falls well under the minimum wage.
I have a B.S. in environmental engineering, and worked in site remediation, landfill design and several other areas before I got into my current field. I am currently the superintendent of Wastewater/water for the city I work for. I have a Class 3 license in wastewater, working on the Class 4(highest I can get in Ohio) and I have a Class 1 water. I am also looking at getting my masters degree in natural resource management and have been researching online degree programs.
Retired military, stay at home dad, hoping for a lot more hunting in the coming years. Might look for another career that will give me more time off than salary increases.
I run a fish hatchery. Won't ever get rich but when I see somebody catching a salmon or steelhead that we raised and I get to see the joy it brings them it's pretty cool.
