I am Taking the wife to see Our Arkansas property finnaly.... If she dont like it its up for sale i guess.
Will spend the weekend in Eureka Springs for the most part.
I will be trekking 750 north to Lost River Outfitters in SK. Man I am only 43 miles from the SK border now, that is way the hell north. Hopefully there is a bear with my name on it.
Going to eastern Wa. and camping out on my parent's property near Cle Elum. Most of my time will be spent looking for deer and elk. It's never too early to scout!
The Herrick Reservor 3-D shoot in Cascade Idaho.
Leaving tonight for 4 day's of camping.
I plan on fishing with my grandkid's ( and any other kids that need help)
Having a party for my grandsons 4th birthday .
I had a cake made to look like hill's with animals set out like a 3-D shoot.
Two Hogs, turkey, exotic, wolf and a raptor LOL
Two week-ends ago he won a 1st & 3rd. place in the kids novelty long distance shoot on a raptor.
Lot's of food, fun , family & friend's.
Friday and Monday will be fishing & kid day.
Sat & sun. will be shoot day's.
Im sure I will come back needing a vaction.
I'm on double shifts for the next 4 weeks so I'm not doing anything but sleeping. Oh and maybe putting a new oil pan gasket on the Bronko. It's dripping a quart on the way to work and a quart on the way home. That on top of gas prices is getting expensive.
Finish a bear rug for a customer, sight in my .338, and go scouting for my Aug. oryx hunt. Every other weekend belongs to my girlfriend, but this one is mine all mine. Oh, and I'll probably take my boy to see Shrek II.
Tomorrow morning its spring salmon fishing, followed by harvesting my yard with the mower, followed by the some rifle plinking up in the woods with the kids. Saturday the wife and I are taking the kids into a wilderness area a few miles for some trout fishing. Sunday reloading and church with family. Monday its more salmon fishing.
Last night my brother-in-law, a friend and I took the Willies drift down for a little fishing. On the way back up with the 8 hp longshaft we just could get up the rapids. We had the outboard pegged I hoped on the sticks and the other bud was leaning over the front of the boat looking for rocks. Well we had it made until we bottomed out in gravel. We had to hop out and pull it up river. Well it was a fun experience we won't do twice.
We leave for Maui at 9:05 AM on Saturday, for my annual "take my wife somewhere nice so she doesn't complain about my hunting trips" duty.
It's tough, but I gotta do it.
Mai Tais and Mahi Mahi Saturday night... followed by hours of diving and snorkeling. Mikey is old enough to snorkel this year, so I am really excited about taking him out!
Thanks, Fred! You see how lucky you are that Vipe likes to hunt!!! If my wife did, think of the hunting trips we could go on!!!
Actually, we bought a timeshare for every other year on Maui a few years ago and paid it off, so it only costs us airfare to go, and we don't do the expensive touristy things, have a kitchen so we can fix a lot of our meals and mainly spend our time kicking back and snorkeling on the beach. I think I pay $200 a year for maintenance and insurance on the timeshare condo.
Since the heat is back on here in az. I am going to take the kids fishing maybe. I have a fun tourny on sunday night. other than that working at the shop, maybe recarpet the boat.
I'm on stand by this week-end, so I have to stay around the house..I might get to work on the boat a little, if its not raining...If it is then I'll work on my beer collection
I'll be taking the wife and her kids to the airport on saturday! What an awesome birthday present! LOL!
My kids will be with the ex for the month of June. I'll have a free week all to my self! Guess I'll just have to do a lil fishing and maybe sight in the new muzz!
Well I took today off and just relaxed while it rained all day. Tomorrow morning will be yard sales and tomorrow night will hopefully hook up with Tim. Sunday and Monday have not been decided as of yet.
