$85 Sportsman with bear over the counter, plus a $19 guarenteed pronghorn license. All animals taken on public land available to anybody... sucks living here. Now if I could just fill this $5 turkey tag, life would be complete.

For another $690, Wyoming would only part with these... again, both taken on public. I'm pretty happy with my season, it was a ton of fun and I scored some super animals.

It does appear that my yellow "Humpy's" hat brought me some luck. Next time I'm in Anchorage, I might have to stop in there for a meal and a beer.

And now it's dumping snow out - elk hunting around here will ROCK. The muleys are starting to stick their noses in doe's butts - and I'm all done. Hopefully I'll get out some more with friends. I suspect it isn't quite over yet.

I gotta confess, when I saw the title of "What $104 can get you in Montana" I was kind of thinking this was going to have lots of pictures of strippers, singles, and lap dances....

I think I am a bit disappointed and there needs to be a bit of a disclaimer that it is only a bunch of dead animals in the thread.
