Moved to Grand Junction last year and am having a hell of a time finding someone who shares my love of hunting who doesn’t already have their hunting group.

I hunt everything from birds, small game, deer, bear, elk, and predators. I archery hunt and also rifle hunt. I am a weekend warrior and prefer to use my vacation days for out of state hunts. I go to Wyoming often and ideally I’d love to find someone who also wants to hunt out of State.

I’d like to find someone who has the free time to share scouting trips, backpack hunt weekends and also have the ability to hunt out of State for a week every year.

About me. Originally from Wisconsin. Used to work oil field after the Army but now run a dock 2nd shift.

I can't really help, but BHA had a pretty good presence in that area for awhile. I'm not sure if that is still the case, but I'd look into attending some of their events if they have any in the area.

Nathan...contact the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in Grand Jct. They have a big presents there and with lots of active members. It takes time for other hunters to meet you and get to know you. Have some patience and be pro-active as you meet other people with your interests. Most resident CO hunters will usually want to hunt in CO, not another state. It may be very hard to find another hunter that will want to go to WY. Sounds like you should have moved to WY. Good luck!!

I jump on this site every once in awhile. I moved to Hotchkiss about three years ago. I archery hunt and rifle hunt for deer and elk. Only tag I had this year was unit 52 archery Elk. No luck. Have you checked out Grand Mesa Bowmen?
