Word is no bison even close to a boundary anywhere. Not gonna happen I'm afraid.

Wife and I snowbound in West Yellowstone as this is being typed. Not a motel room left in town. Visibility less than 100 yds.

I have talked to local warden and also MT FWP has a bison hunt hotline that you can call into and they update it as soon as info is available. From what I understand that is info relayed to them from wardens and biologists with boots on the ground info.

Well season came and went with no action outside the park. Ugh kinda my luck in a way. Best the odds draw a hard to draw tag and then have the Bison decide to camp in Yellowstone Park. Oh well, it gave me some thing to think about all summer. Now to draw a sheep tag somewhere in the US
