The plan for today was to skip the trip to visit her and get the lift pad poured. Figured it would take long enough mixing a few bags at a time in a wheelbarrow AND I would be tired enough after that I should just plan on an all day event. Then it hit me. Well, if I'm going to be home all day anyway... RIBS!!!

I just prepped a 2# wild hog ham in the dry bacon rub yesterday. 10 days to cure in the walk-in then into the smoker.
