Thanks Festus.
There is power in prayer. Prayer is not making a wish and God is not our genie. Prayer is communion with God and the conditions must be met. Many folks live in habitual unrepented sin and go to God when they need something and then wonder why prayer is not working.

Psalm 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, God will not hear me.
James 5:16 ...the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

The first prayer of anyone should be a prayer of repentance and by faith accepting Christ as Lord and Savour.

Throughout history people fight and die for their king.

Jesus was the only king that died for his people, and asked for nothing in return from us.

My fav verse: 1jn4.4. He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world.
