What a story. I like the driving lessons as well. Any fingernails in the armrest? Probably glad you didn't kick up a coyote in the stubble on the way out.
This should be a mandatory class in school...... teaches more than they could ever learn in school imo, congrats too both of you for a great father daughter day of hunting.....
Matt
Very nice, congrats to both of you. I'm always surprised that you guys have muleys running around in your stubble and farmland and we have pretty much only have whitetails just a few miles to east.
Soo cool. Dad always talked to our teachers before he would take us out of school. My 3rd grade teacher told him we would learn more in a week hunting than a month of school. Congratulations to both of you
I for one am glad I never have to worry about pulling my kids out of school. Their teacher sleeps in the same bed as me and their classroom is downstairs.
Great story and photos of a great father/daughter hunting trip! Loved it!
I'm not sure about other states, but I have been told by parents of school age kids here in NC (mine is too old now) that if you take your kid out of school for an event of some sort, you can write a note to the teacher and the student can get credit for that days event. Example, go to Disney, that would be a great day to learn physics! A day hunting, would be a day where she learned biology...and uh, tragectory? Just a thought!
