..Its going to be a fishing outfitter/guide/salmon charter...Dang near any saltwater fish in the Pacific Northwest will be offered..Like salmon, sea bass, ling cod,halabut,sturgen,crabs..If its in season we will fish for it..

My game plan is to offer more than just one fish at a time...More bang for the buck type of thing..The salmon charters here run about $125.00 a day to go out and try to get 2 salmon..when the boat gets it limit, thats all you get, its back to the dock time..They leave the dock at 7:00 in the morning, and the average time back at the dock has been 11:00 am.I'm planning to stay out at lease 10 hours, and if the boat limits out on salmon, then we go for sea bass, and ling cod..Then on our way back in we just have to pick up the crab pots

Tony, I used to own a boat and charter fish.. The one definition that I like best for a boat... "A hole in the water that you line with fiberglass and pour money into..." If you start charter fishing, I'll make you one promise... You will never work so hard and so many hours for your money in any other line of work. It's fun when you're catching fish and it's great fun when there are charters booked... (get the money up front..) but the boatwork and the annual haul out and the bottom jobs and bumping things in the dark and balancing props, and electronics going down, and all kinds of little things the go wrong... Would I go back to doing it again?? In a New York minute..

Good Luck and have a great time... by the way,, who has the ticket??

Hear, hear, on the fishing gathering. Keep us posted on your progress. When you are up and going, we should get something together in Washington. I would definately be up for that! I'll talk to Moosie about it too.

Dan,, I know just what your talking about...My family use to commercial salmon fish in the summer while I was in school..Dad had me running a boat at 13. I swore that when we sold the boats, that I would never catch another salmon again, let alone go fish for one

Then about 3 or 4 years after Becky and I get married, she brings home a salmon that she got from the store( thinking it would be nice for supper)..That thing looked so bad that we took it back to the store, and had them give her, her money back..I told her if she wanted salmon, then I'd go catch her one...That was about 22 years ago, and 3 boats
