Waterfowl, let’s see them!

Did a goose hunt in the am, then ran up to the river for an afternoon duck hunt. Didn't light the world on fire with either hunt.
I did however get my first lesser canada and the 1st pintail I've shot in probably 5 or 6 years.
Another great day in the treasure state. Early field hunt tomorrow, then off to the airport for a 2pm flight.

It's been real slow close to home last couple of weeks, so made a long drive to the big lake down south and had a good trip. A boat sneak got the first pintail drake of the year, and a couple of teal died in the crossfire. Then was holding out for mallards, but screwed up my one chance after an hour, so filled out limit with teal and a widgeon. Might end up at this spot for most of the rest of the season.

Was hoping for a pintail. Saw a bunch but none of them wanted to play and I am terrible at pass shooting. But the teal were very willing. Picked up six with 90 mins of light left and held out for a pintail until the last five minutes and took the consolation prize to finish out a tasty limit of greenwings.
