I have a few things that dominate my life right now. I am retired, old and feeble and cheap.

I am looking at a wall tent to try and be sensibly original. In other words, small (10x12x4' wall hgt.) and using exterior poles for support. I am considering the heaviest material as it provides the vintage style, is more resistant to rain and will help insulate in the -10 degree Wisconsin winters. But I do not have an option for fire resistance on this material.

Long way about: is this an okay way to go?

If you are not hunting with friends GOOD LUCK setting up that tent!!!! I bought a Cabelas Alaknak. It's light enough for 2 people to set up and the little woodstove will run you out of the tent.

go with an internal A frame and you can set it up in less then 1/2 hr solo also 5 ft side walls LOTS more room!! I apply a fire resistant waterproofing paint to my roof and have never had an issue good luck
