After deer hunting for 26 years...I finally shot one with a pistol



It was nearly as exciting as the first deer I ever shot.

The pistol is a Ruger SuperBlackhawk 44 mag with 71/2" barrel.

The shot was at 40 yards with open sites, the deer ran only 20 yards hump


I have shot alot of cull deer this year...but I wouldn't be any happier if this one was a monster B&C deer.

Only 7...the deer here are on the small side. Yearlings or mature deer a 100lber is a good one.
