Valley Quail

Well it was foggy so my son and I decited to head to the foothills to get some sun and dinner. The quail were educated and not holding to tight but we had a ton of fun.

Nice pic, I sure miss chasing those little guys. I miss the mountain quail hunting even more.

+1. Going to have to get over my cold and get myself into the desert. And split time between archery deer and quail before I split time between deer, javelina and quail on the few days off I have in January. Rough couple of months ahead.

Thank guys, it was a fun day with my son.
We do have a healthy population of mountain quail up there but I usually hunt them in Sept.
