I was lucky enough to draw the Pine Valley buck pronghorn tag at the Western Hunting and Conservation Expo this February. As I sit here on Prince of Wales Island, Southeast Alaska in March, I realize I absolutely have no information other than GoHunt,'s Pine Valley description. Any insight you could share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Hoping to give one of these speed goats a Hawken handshake in September.

Check the Utah DWR hunt planner. It usually has a section on biologist notes for a given season. I wish I had specific info on the unit, but I don't.

Congrats on the tag. You have been pretty lucky at the Expo. Will you be using your Hawken?
